In the beginning

In the beginning there was just myself, but then my daughter came along when I was 20 years old. She was the most beautiful person I had ever met. She was named Elizabeth Dawn-Marie Dyck, and the moment she was born I loved her with all my heart. Well 10 years and 3 kids later, I am a single mom (unmarried not unattached loll) and I am unemployed but have decided that on top of raising 3 kids I am going to go back to school to do what people have been telling me to do for years and years : become a nurse! I have been told since about 6 years ago... due to my love of medicine and helping people that I should be come a nurse and I am thinking very seriously about doing this. But that is not the reason for this blog... The reason for this blog is because my little girl and I are in a constant battle with a little bug called LICE!... Yes we have treated and cleaned and treated and cleaned and we have shaved her head before but this time I am going to do it too and we are going to find out what it takes to grow back healthy hair after it has been shaved off... and also we are going to use this as an information presentation to help those going through cancer treatments and have lost their hair or are recovering and are going their hair back.
We will post before and after pictures and progress pictures. And the parts of our experiment that are going on. We are going to change our diets and take vitamins and use scalp massage and different shampoos to figure out what it takes to grow healthy thick hair.
If any of my power up ppl have any suggestions about products or processes or vitamins that worked or didnt work please post it so that we can try and see and then report what the reaction is back to you.
Thats all for now. will Post later with pre and post shave pics.

  1. Vitamine D, and believe it or not...Jello. The Gelatin makes your hair stronger, and thicker. Works for your nails too! Good Luck in your endeavour.
P.S. I think you should get into nursing too.
